We attended a potluck picnic/bonfire that was hosted at a nearby farm. The farm operates a cool program we just joined called "consumer supported agriculture". We purchased a share and once a week we receive a large box of produce direct from the farm. It contains delicious varieties of fruits and vegetables not found in the supermarket and the bulk of it is organic. The picnic was great and we were delighted to find several of our friends and their families from work were there. The day concluded with several large bonfires. A smaller fire was lit for kids to roast marshmallows but of course Connor couldn't resist cooking on the bonfire.
