Taran is not a big fan of being in the shower but he thinks the outdoor sprinklers are pretty groovy.

I was sorting through files on my laptop this morning and found this one of Taran at about 7 weeks gestation. So amazing to realize that little critter is now a little boy.

Chicken Invasion

Our neighbor's chickens think our yard is just the greatest. We have lots of tasty bugs and strawberries so they visit us every day.

Because he's such a slender little guy Taran is always twisting and maneuvering in his stroller, bathtub, highchair, you name it. The carseat we've got pretty snug though. This move propping the foot up while he was eating reminded me of someone else and their little girl too... Auntie TERESE and KATIE-DOODLE!!!

Very Serious Musician

We bought Taran a little rhythm music set (triangle, drum, bells etc) and he absolutely loves it. It is very similar to something I had when I was a little. He runs around shrieking and showing off until the camera comes out and then... he gives his mellow look.

Chicken Pox

Tylenol and toothbrush

On Monday Taran had his chicken pox vaccination. Wednesday evening to Saturday morning he had a fever (upwards of 103+ at times) and this morning ( 7 days later) I found little red spots all over his chest, neck and back. Fortunately they don't seem itchy and except for a light apetite Taran's is running around playing with every toy in reach. When he runs out of untouched toys he goes for moms toothbrush and his tylenol bottle.
