Someday we're going to need a bigger bathtub...

Visiting frineds in Colfax

A very goodmorning with a book and blanket. Karli, Karen, Kurtis and Taran.

We had a wonderful visit with our friends in Colfax. Kevin is a highschool friend of Connors and this was the first time we've had a chance to get the kids together. We had a wonderful time touring their 100+ year old farmhouse, hiking in the hills, playing at Klemgard Park, eating some good homecooked meals, watching a DVD, and playing playing playing.

Tovi and Grandma Rita

Grandma and Tovi had a lot of fun during our visit to Spokane. A favorite toy is the funny turtle. No one is certain what it says but the best guess is "Button, Button".

Connell City Park - a new favorite stopping point

Fishing, Wading, Soaking Wet

Testing out the fishing pole at Leslie Groves (Sea Gull Park) along the Columbia.

Sharing Clothes

Tovi has been wearing some of Taran's hand-me-downs and the favor was returned when Taran asked to wear some delightful soft yellow velour pants. Tovi wore the matching top.

Inside the box... Again

There is a boy in there somewhere.

PlayTime/SleepTime

Tovi is going to bed and Taran is ready to play all night if we'd let him.

The next morning Tovi has been awake for hours and Taran is about about to fall back asleep.

Three Boys, Two sets of Parents, One little girl

It was a fun weekend. We had our friends Nytasha, David and their two boys visiting from Seattle. The weather was a comfortable fall day and we spent all Saturday at a pumpkin patch and Columbia River Park. Of course I forgot my camera during the outing. Afterwards Taran, Andrew (2) and Xander (4) relaxed watching Thomas the train on a DVD Taran and I had borrowed from the library.

For dinner we made homemade pasta with red, pesto and white sauce. (Taran, Connor, Andrew, David).

In the morning Xander and Taran did some drawings together.

and Taran and Andrew shared trains.

Tovi had a fun weekend too!

Pumpkin Bucket Head

Taran has been doing a wonderful job with using his potty. One morning as we were getting ready for preschool it was too quiet and I finally located mr. mischief doing some reading.

The "MaCoreber" Crib

Somehow Taran misheard us and call our portable crib the MaCorber crib. I had discouraged him from climbing in but finally relented when he insisted he needed in to keep Tovi company.

Finger Puppets

Taran and I made these out of "plastic" modeling clay that you bake in the oven.
