Taran and swim lessons

Taran has been doing great during his swim lessons. He propels himself underwater "zooms", floats on his back (7 seconds is his record), practises strokes "big arms", crouches underwater to grab sinkers off the pool bottom, and leaps to his instructor Ben.

The pool depth is 36" and Taran is just over 37.5" so he tip toes and holds his breath after he jumps in until Ben zooms or cannonballs him to dad.

Tovi likes walking!

Tovi has been teasing us with lots of brief walking stints over the last several months but finally is interested in really getting some practising in and performing for the camera (with Winnie the Pooh as incentive).

Tovi in the shower

Winter Wonderland!

Taran will be right over to shovel your drive next Uncle Sean. :)

Happy Birthday Tovi!

"I'm One!"

Waiting for the guests to arrive.

Cake decorated by Big Brother Taran!

Yummy! It tastes almost as good as Dads thumb!

Our Return Flight

Tovi slept most of the flight home from Michigan.

Taran was disappointed to discover his window seat had a fake window this time so...

... he went to sleep too.

Our Flight to Michigan

Taran is happy to have a window seat.

Tovi is just happy to be Tovi.

Daddy and Taran at Gallup Park

One green sock and one orange sock. "Just for fun", says Taran.

Walking along the Huron River.
Running through the brush.

New Years (Thank you dad for the holiday pictures)

We attending Jubilee in Ypsilanti for New Years and were glad to see our favorite classical guitarist and pianist were both there. We arrived home just before midnight and celebrated with champagne, sparkling grape juice, party hats and "crackers" (foil toy in Taran's hand that make a loud bang when you pull the ends).

Balloons

It has become somewhat of a tradition to pick-up a helium ballon kit when we visit in Michigan. You can never have too many helium ballons when you have kids around. We adults enjoyed them too of course. :)

Chatting with Myrtle

My great aunt Myrtle moved to Michigan this fall after 50+ some years in New York City.

Tovi munching on Penguin's nose

Tovi loves Taran's penguin... and munching on the nose.

Opening Gifts

I noticed Taran was missing one of his socks and when I asked him about it he told me, "That's because I need to put some presents in it."

Cousins

Tovi, Taran, Sam, Katie, Issac.

Sleepy Boys

Issac and Taran napping before dinner.

Christmas 2007 (Decemeber 27th) in Michigan
