Connor and I decided 16 months was old enough to start helping out around the homestead so we bundled Taran up and sent him outside to do some yardwork.

New Socks from Nana!

Friday was my birthday and I am now... still thirty-something. How about that! Taran and I are modeling one of my gifts in the photo above. Thank you mom and dad! :)

I am delighted to be sharing my birthday with a brand new Andrew Daniel born in Seattle Friday morning at 7:20am. Congratulations to our good friends Nytasha and David and our godson Alexander the proud big brother!

A Present for Taran!

We received a delightful "Little People" book from my Aunt and Uncle in Hawaii. Taran thinks it's very fun to turn the pages himself and is practising opening the flaps on all of the pages to see what's behind them.

It's Almost Halloween!

I'm a bee and dad is wearing his bathrobe.

We had a chilly morning and just for fun I put Taran into the warm fuzzy bee costume he wore last Halloween. It mostly still fits. Dad gave Taran a small jar of honey as a prop for the picture.

My fingers are HUGE! 

I lost my shirt
Lunch was surprisingly tidy today until... when I offered Taran a cup of milk he took two nice polite gulps and with a grin poured the remainder down the front of his shirt. If you look closely you can see he still wears a happy little smirk.
